College to Corporate - eBooks on Engineering!

AA) Purpose of eBook Series:

College to Corporate – Live Engineering for Budding Professionals

After completing graduation or post-graduation engineering in various disciplines and immediately after joining in the corporate world, engineers typically face a lot of challenges. This eBook series is intended to bridge the gap between academic and corporate world.

The situation is that a fresh engineer has theoretical and basic knowledge (through academic textbooks) but has great difficulty in applying the knowledge practically as per needs of industries. Just like knowing theoretically “how to swim”; however not being able to swim in an ocean.

Most of the academic institutions, colleges, universities - have their fixed curriculum for core engineering to cover mainly fundamental theories & basics on various engineering subjects - within stipulated time frame. However corporate world or various industries expect application, practical & business orientated skillsets. The corporate world – want to put them on live projects immediately after induction programs.  This gives rise to a big gap between what these budding engineers know and what industries expect from them.

This eBook series is specially articulated to bridge this gap between College and Corporate world. This self-learning eBook series has been designed to cover practical industry application-oriented topics in a capsule form containing basics, economic sense, business outlook approach, recent industrial trends, priorities for sustainability, environment & safety, energy efficiency, alternative & viable technological options, techno-economic feasibility, real life engineering calculations with appropriate assumptions. This eBook series also will create global outlook and update about various national and international standards, guidelines and stipulations to be considered for day-to-day engineering work.

With this eBook series – engineers will attain the right knowledge and orientation within short time by self-learning and can cross over such transition phase smoothly. Hence it will be a win-win situation for both newly joined aspiring engineers and Industries.

For the budding professionals who are still in career molding phase with an open mind to learn new things & aspiring to fulfill their dreams; these eBooks will be a real help for them to acquire required skillsets.

This can be considered as virtual on-the-job training without visit to the industry for the upcoming & aspiring engineers.

In the eBook series, topics covered are applicable for all industries across the globe and designed in such a way that any core-engineering discipline professional can understand and learn fast without any external training.
