We are always proud when our alumni scale the heights of achievement. Sukla Mistry, has recently become the first woman director on the board of IOC.

Our alumni keep making us proud and this time it is one of our relatively young alumna, Sushmita Bhattacharya, who has been named an Apple Scholar. 

GAABESU has been organizing Scholarships and Awards for the deserving students of IIEST, in one of their flagship endeavours for several years now. This year's Scholarships and Awards were announced on the evening of Saturday, 3rd April 2021, through an online event. 

The batch of 1971 completed 50 years of their graduation from this iconic institution and celebrated this landmark in style. 

The century-old Athletic Club Building, home of BEC/BESU’s Gymnasium, has been in poor condition and desperately needs a facelift. We urge all alumni to come forward and join hands with GAABESU and help upgrade this essential facility for the students.
