As you must be aware, the whole country & world are going through an unprecedented pandemic era, which none of us can predict how & when it will end. Like everyone, we the alumni, Students, Faculty members along with our family members of this institution are also no exceptions. We all know that now the scarcity of oxygen supply is the main problem in this Pandemic situation all over India.
GAABESU received a request from Prof. Arindam Biswas, Dean of International Relations and Alumni Affairs to arrange one or two oxygen concentrators (10 LPM preferably) for the Institute Hospital. At the Institute hospital they have arranged for a covid care facility and a new tele-medicine facility to cater to the needs of the employees of the Institute as well as for the campus residents.
GAABESU sent an appeal to all alumni to come forward in this pandemic situation and donate for Oxygen Concentrators. Within one week the fund was raised and GAABESU donated Oxygen Concentrator to the IIEST Hospital. The Institute acknowledged and extended heartfelt gratitude to its alumni for their contribution.
