GAABESU
LATEST NEWS
Super cyclone Amphan had wreaked havoc in the southern part of Bengal, particularly the Sunderbans in the delta region of West Bengal. Always ready to take up our social responsibility, GAABESU had joined hands with MUKTI, a non-profit social organisation that worked relentlessly to help the devastated people of Sunderbans. GAABESU had initiated an appeal to its members to come forward and help with their contributions, on 12th of June, 2020.
In less than two weeks, many members came forward and donated what they could, to help support this noble initiative. By 18th of June, GAABESU had raised an amount of Rs. 1.2 lacs, which was duly handed over to MUKTI rightaway.
MUKTI has been relentless in their effort to provide sustenance to the people completely devastated by this deadly cyclone. Here is a letter from Mr. Sankar Halder, the President of MUKTI, acknowledging the support from GAABESU.
