Honoris Causa (D.Litt.) to Hillol Ray 1973 Civil 

Hillol Ray (1973 CE) recently added a new feather on the cap of his literary endeavors: Honorary Doctorate (D.Litt.) – Honoris Causa, awarded by Premio Universal from Birland (also known as Bir Tawil).  Poetas Intergalacticos of Birland recognized his literary contributions over the decades.  

In 2021, Applied Computer Technology (ACT) of Kolkata, India, felicitated him with Vidyasagar Award, at their 10th CCSN International Conference.

Hillol’s literary carrier started at the early age of six and has continued through the decades till present. 

Widely published and interviewed nationally and internationally, his Bengali and English language poems have appeared in many text books and doctoral dissertations in appendices.

Many poems of Hillol have already been translated in German, French, Arabic, Greek languages and still continuing.
