GAABESU requests All alumni to join us in remembering our beloved professor , Dr. Jayanta Kumar Sen , whose unexpected demise on 15th July 2020 has shocked and saddened us all. Prof. Jayanta Kumar Sen was Head Of The Department of Electrical Engineering twice . He was a highly respected professor with profound knowledge in both Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dr. Sen was an alumnus of Calcutta University and held two Ph. D. degrees (one of them from abroad). Prof. Sen was a jovial , modest and thoughtful person and a loving professor . He will be best and most appropriately remembered for his teaching and mentoring.
We deeply mourn his death and express our sincere condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace.
