Sukla Mistry (1985 Met E) Becomes First Woman Director On The Board Of IOC!

One of our highly established alumna, from the Batch of 1985 - Metallurgical Engineering, Ms. Sukla Mistry, has been appointed the first woman director on the board of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).

This is a phenomenal achievement, and is expected to provide a massive boost for gender diversity in India’s energy sector and indicates rising opportunities for women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

Indian Oil remains the top refiner in India with a group refining capacity of 80.55 million tonnes per annum (1.64 million barrels per day).
