Shri Mihir Kumar Chatterjee, an alumnus of B E College (1945 Civil), a retired Chief Engineer of PWD, Government of West Bengal, a life member and driving force of B E College Ex-Students' Club, a life member of GAABESU, stepped into the 100th year of his life on 05 June 2020, in fairly good health, and with a strong memory and immense mental strength.

GAABSU decided to join hands with MUKTI, a non-profit socio economic organisation ( working for Sundarban people in the delta region of South 24 Parghanas in West Bengal ) to fulfil our social responsibilities and help the people of West Bengal in this trying time.
GAABESU has decided to join hands with West Bengal Doctors Forum, a Non-Profit Organization, who have appealed for support. They are purchasing PPEs and supplying to the healthcare workers directly.
