  • As our society struggles to deal with the global pandemic of Covid-19, followed by the Super Cyclone Amphan, many alumni groups from IIEST/BEC have come forward to provide support to the most affected people. The Batch of 1986 have taken their efforts to a completely different level. 


  • GAABESU had joined hands with MUKTI, a non-profit social organisation (working for people in Sundarbans, the delta region of South 24 Parghanas in West Bengal), to help the worst affected during the cyclone Amphan.


  • The super cyclone Amphan has had a devastating effect on certain parts of India, particularly the southern part of West Bengal. As millions of people faced the doom of losing their homes, properties, livelihood, and at times lives, some of our alumni batches took the initiative to reach out to the affected, through some aid and lots of compassion.
