Dear All Members, 

As you all are aware, the pandemic situation and resultant lock-downs & travel-bans are still continuing all over the world. Since we are not being able to plan a physical meet till now, like the previous year, this year also, we are planning to organize few programs over virtual platform, including our second world wide alumni E-Reunion on coming 15th August 2021 and then followed by Global Quiz competition.

Since this E-Reunion event is scheduled on the Indian Independence Day, we have planned to adopt a theme as "Independence & Nationalism" (with it's wide range & meaning), for the Cultural program .

GAABESU Members, who are willing to perform in the cultural program, may please inform Mr. Indranil Sen ('80 Arch) about their willingness and indicating the type of performance (song, recitals, etc) at indranilsen.net@gmail.com latest by 24th July 2021. Total Cultural program part will be prerecorded. The final selection of performances shall be under the responsibility & authority of GAABESU.

Participants in the discussions part, intertwined with the cultural program, will be preselected,  covering whole span of at least last 70-80 years.

After our successful first Global e-reunion, we are organizing our next zoom event where 4 of our alumni from the recent 4 decades, will share and inspire present IIEST students and recent graduates, with their journey and experiences at Caltech, Cambridge, MIT and Harvard.

We request all alumni pursuing masters and/or PhD abroad to join us and share their experiences with the audience as well. We will allow upto 10 alumni to share their experiences, and therefore we request each alumni to keep their speech limited to 60 seconds. We will accept requests on-line by Zoom chat for up to 10 alumni to share their experiences. So, once you join please post a chat message with your full name, year, department and present University, so that you can be called upon to speak.

The event will be recorded and recording will be available at our web site.
